The 'Good Food Box'

The “Good Food Box” is a bulk buying food program that provides you with a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese and eggs or yogurt at a discounted price. With each box, a newsletter created by your local public health dietitian will be provided which includes recipes and nutrition tips. Anyone can purchase a box and boxes are distributed once a month and will be available for pick up on the third Monday of the month at the cost of $17.00. When you purchase a box for $17.00, you will save approximately $5.00-7.00 based on the value of the box that month. Not only will the box save you money and time, it will also provide you with the opportunity to try fresh, healthy foods that you may not have tried before.

NEWCOVID-19 Guidelines for the Good Food Box

The Good Food Box program is restarting! Boxes will be available to purchase starting in July. Before picking up your box, please remember the following actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19:

Before picking up your box, please call your specific pick up location. Each location will have specific guidelines in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. For example, your pickup location may require you to create an appointment to pick up your box. If you are required to enter the specific pick up location to get your box, you will be required to sanitize your hands upon arrival, practice physical distancing at all times (keeping at least 2 metres apart), and you will be required to wear a mask when entering the building. Please remember to stay home if you are feeling sick.
