Southwestern Public Health is seeking help to identify a dog involved in a bite incident in Woodstock.

The incident took place on Tuesday February 11, 2025, at the intersection of Hunter Street and Vansittart Avenue in Woodstock, ON around 4:45 PM.

The victim was walking and was bitten by the dog when its owner passed by. The dog is described as small and brown in colour (unknown breed). The owner of the dog is described as an adult female.

Public Health wants to confirm the vaccination status of the dog to allow the victim and their healthcare provider to determine next steps related to rabies post-exposure prophylaxis.
