Southwestern Public Health Seeking Information on Dog Bite Incident
Southwestern Public Health is looking to the public for help identifying a dog that bit a child on Halloween night. The incident occurred at the corner of Stover and South Court Streets in Norwich between 7:30 pm and 7:45 pm.
The child was trick or treating and encountered a man walking a dog on a leash down the sidewalk. The dog jumped up and bit the child's arm. The dog is described as a large black dog with short hair and a brown belly. It left a paw print the size of a baseball on the victim's jacket.
