Small Drinking Water Systems
Southwestern Public Health (SWPH) is responsible for conducting risk assessments of Small Drinking Water Systems. A Small Drinking Water System is drinking water that is accessed by the public but does not include a municipal system. Examples include sit down restaurants, hotels, motels, trailer parks, campgrounds, marinas, churches, and places of worship. Risk assessments indicate if a system is classified as either a high, moderate or low risk system. High risk systems are assessed every 2 years and moderate and low risk systems are assessed every 4 years.
