Food and Eating
Food is a big part of our lives. Eating a variety of foods can help your body get the nutrients it needs. Food can also bring joy and can help us to connect with others.
What we eat is influenced by lots of factors including:
- the foods you enjoy
- what you can afford
- the foods that are available to you
- cultural food traditions
- allergies and health conditions
- time
Canada's Food Guide outlines one way of eating.
