What kind of birth control should I use?
You have birth control options. Learn about different kinds of contraception (birth control) from the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC). The Canadian Women’s Health Network also provides information to help you choose what kind of birth control is right for you.
Emergency contraception
Emergency contraception can prevent pregnancy after unprotected vaginal sex. Please call us or visit a pharmacy as soon as possible if you think you need emergency contraception. It is more effective the sooner it is taken. Learn more about emergency contraception from the SOGC.
